We’ve got an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager at our Office in Seaham. Reporting to the Head of People, you’ll align ResQ's business objectives with the goals of our employees and management teams. You’ll be the bridge that ensures successful partnerships between HR and the rest of our business, delivering value-added services that reflect our mission. We’re looking for a driven and progressive HR professional who can help us innovate our HR function.
What can you expect from this role?
We are seeking a forward-thinking HR professional to champion world class, human resources management at ResQ. You will play a crucial role in shaping our employee experience and driving organisational success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- As a Culture Builder, partner with employees at all levels to strengthen workplace relationships, enhance morale, and boost productivity and retention through engaging creating and implementing HR and Engagement initiatives.
- Lead the execution of Employee Engagement projects, analysing feedback and implementing meaningful changes that align with our core values to enhance workplace culture.
- Navigate complex employee relations, providing knowledge as the subject matter expert to guide leaders enabling them to manage consistency, professionally and with excellent leadership.
- Being a Performance Management Advocate, collaborating with line managers to implement effective performance management strategies, monitoring their success and making ongoing improvements.
- As a policy innovator, collaborate with the wider HR team to craft, develop, and refine policies that are progressive and align with our dynamic business needs and industry standards, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Develop and communicate competitive benefits packages to meet the diverse needs of our workforce and promote overall well-being.
- Analyse trends and metrics to develop actionable insights, fostering programs and solutions that promote workforce engagement and performance excellence.
- In partnership with our Learning and Development Teams, support the implementation and continuous improvement of all HR Learning and Development initiatives to equip our leaders for future challenges.
- Oversee various HR projects that drive engagement and development, ensuring they are executed effectively and deliver tangible results.
- Provide strategic input into business restructures and workforce planning.
What are we looking for?
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent is essential, along with a proven and successful track record in an HR role.
- At least 3 years of experience handling complex employee relations matters.
- Familiarity with various HR disciplines, including organisational development, performance management, and employment law.
- A deep passion for all aspects of HR with a knack for building strong relationships.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, able to prioritise tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- A natural problem-solver with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset—we need a true team player who is ready to roll up their sleeves and get involved.
- An independent thinker who can also mentor and coach team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Previous Mental Health Training is a plus, as we prioritise workplace well-being.
